About Me
Growing up, artistic gymnastics was my first love. Although I was very passionate about the sport, I knew it was not maintainable or something I could practice consistently as I grew older. I quit when I was 15. Two years later, in 2015, I discovered the art of pole dancing and instantly fell in love. The aerial acrobatics reminded me of gymnastics, yet pole looked so much more fun, creative and empowering to practice.
In 2019, shortly after obtaining my B.A. in Psychology from McGill University, I competed for the first time as a pole artist and won first place in the Level 4 division of the PSO Canada East Championships. I initially had plans to pursue a Ph.D. and become a psychotherapist after graduation, but my passion for pole took over and led me to more exciting opportunities.
I started offering one-on-one lessons at the beginner and intermediate levels to students in the Montreal area and in 2020, I extended my services internationally, thanks to virtual classes through platforms like Google Meet and Zoom.
My recent accomplishments include winning the title of 2022 Canada East Artistic Champion and earning a silver medal at the 2022 Pacific Championships in Los Angeles. That same year, I launched my brand, Divinity Polewear — a line of performance attire designed specifically for pole athletes. Our first product sold out in just 12 hours and is now worn by athletes in over 45 countries.
Since then, I’ve gone on to win the title of 2023 Canadian National Pole Champion — proudly performing in my own designs — and made my debut as a judge at national competitions. I also had the incredible opportunity to perform live on stage in front of tens of thousands of people, with artists such as Snoop Dogg, marking some of the most surreal and rewarding moments of my career so far.
I was just a self-conscious and socially anxious 17-year-old when I signed up for my first pole class. I can honestly say this sport changed my life. It helped me grow into the confident and empowered woman I am today, and I feel so grateful to now be able to share that journey with others. Since becoming an instructor in 2019, I’ve had the privilege of helping students of all ages (16–50+) discover their natural strength and achieve things they never thought possible. If that sounds like something you’d like to explore, I’d love to hear from you.
I am based in Montreal and fluent in English, French and Romanian.
